Woburn is a village located in Bedfordshire, England. It is located in the very heart of the county. It sits in between Milton Keynes and Bedford and is known for being one of the most picturesque villages in the area.

The name ‘Woburn’ derives from the ancient Anglo-Saxon Woborna, which means ‘Dwelling Place’. The area has been inhabited since at least the Iron Age, with evidence of Roman settlements having been found nearby.

The second major attraction of Woburn is its eponymous Abbey – a grand mansion house. This landmark building can be found situated within more than 30000 acres of parkland. Its gardens feature various follies.
