Rag Hole (ruin)

The ruins of an old farm known as Rag Hole that was present here in the through the 19th Century before the reservoirs were constructed and still present as a farm and outbuildings after.

By the 1940s Rag Hole was diminished to a single building, I’m not sure if this was the farmhouse or just a barn still in use.

Today the ruins of Rag Hole are preserved as manicured, low walls and a very short distance Northward, the stone basin of what must have been the spring for the farm is still found built into a dry stone wall.
