Higher Garstangs (ruin)

The ruins of Higher Garstangs is often seen by walkers in Roddlesworth Woods, just beside the Ryal Fold footpath.

Only low-walls infilled with rubble mark the sprawling remains of Higher Garstangs, now moss-covered and overgrown it’s still possible to make out the layout of the old farm buildings.

Probably now worth a visit if unless you’re passing by.
