Grade I listed The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Northampton is an unusual example of a church with a round nave – said to be inspired by the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Jerusalem.
The Northampton Church of the Holy Sepulchre dates from around 1100 and started with the circular nave, together with a short chancel. The north aisle was added around 1180, followed by a second north aisle in 1295. The south aisle and western tower were built in the early 15th Century.
