Wellingborough

Wellingborough is a market town in the North Northamptonshiredistrict of Northamptonshire.

At the time of the 2011 census, its population was 21,775. 12 miles (19 km) east of Northampton on the A45 . It is situated on the south-eastern escarpment of Rockingham Forest , an ancient royal hunting forest which spans the border between Northamptonshire and Leicestershire .
